WHAT I DO

01 / AUDITS

Security Audits

Wireless, embedded, and web systems tested the way an attacker would — so gaps get fixed before they're found.

02 / FIRMWARE

Embedded Firmware

Detection and defense firmware for ESP32, M5Stack, and custom nodes — running right on the metal.

03 / MOBILE

Mobile & Full-Stack

iOS, Android, and web apps — backed by a bachelor's in mobile development.

04 / OPEN SOURCE

Open Source

Building and contributing to FOSS since 2010 — tools the community actually runs.

ABOUT

Root Down Digital is the practice of Luke Switzer — a security engineer and developer who has built and secured systems for companies since 2013, backed by over fifteen years in the field. His security work spans offensive engagements for private and public organizations, red-team operations, and Blue Team defense for a Fortune 200 enterprise. Through coordinated vulnerability disclosure, he has reported flaws responsibly and worked directly with the teams at Apple, Axosoft, Anthropic, and others through to remediation.

The work covers the full stack of modern security and product engineering: wireless and embedded research, detection firmware, and the iOS, Android, and web applications that bring it together — built privacy-first and maintained end to end. Across client engagements, shipped products, and a decade of open-source tooling, Root Down Digital delivers software people trust and the kind of code companies hire for.
