WHAT I DO

01 / AUDITS

Security Audits

Wireless, embedded, and web — internal and external — tested the way an attacker would. Gaps close before anyone else finds them.

02 / FIRMWARE

Embedded Firmware

Detection and defense firmware for ESP32, M5Stack, and custom nodes. Lean code, close to the metal.

03 / MOBILE

Mobile & Full-Stack

iOS, Android, and the web behind them — designed, built, and shipped end to end.

04 / OPEN SOURCE

Open Source

Built in the open since 2010 — tools people actually run, not just star.

ABOUT

Root Down Digital is the practice of Luke Switzer — a security engineer and developer who has built and secured systems for over fifteen years. His offensive work spans engagements for private and public organizations and red-team operations; on defense, he has run Blue Team for a Fortune 200 enterprise. Through coordinated disclosure he has reported vulnerabilities responsibly, working directly with teams from Apple to Wyze.

The work runs the full stack: wireless and embedded research, detection firmware, and the iOS, Android, and web applications that tie it together — built privacy-first and maintained end to end. Across client engagements, shipped products, and open-source tooling, one test never changes — does it beat the modern adversary.
